ZIRO PLA Single Color - Matte

ZIRO's Matte PLA filament produces a shine-free, frosted surface on printed parts. The finish gives models a subdued, contemporary look without the glossy sheen typical of standard PLA. The material is made from premium raw PLA and is formulated to be odour-free, with good ductility and higher strength compared to basic PLA. It is designed to print without warping, clogging, or bubbling.

The filament is wound mechanically to prevent tangles and knots during a print run. Each spool is dried for 24 hours before being vacuum-sealed to keep moisture out. A re-sealable bag is included so you can store the filament properly between uses and maintain print quality over time.

Dimensional accuracy is held to ±0.03mm, controlled by CCD diameter measurement during production. The spool measures 7.99 inches in diameter with a 2.48-inch width and a 2.36-inch hub hole diameter. Suggested print settings are a nozzle temperature of 190–220°C, a bed temperature of 50–60°C, and a print speed of 30–90 mm/s. A hardened nozzle and extruder gear are recommended when printing matte PLA.

The filament is compatible with most FDM printers. Each order includes a 2.2 lb vacuum-packed spool, a re-sealable storage bag, 5 metres of cleaning filament, and a 5-metre random filament sample.
