ZIRO PLA - Glow In Dark

ZIRO's glow-in-the-dark PLA filament is formulated with premium glow powders that absorb light energy and emit a visible glow in the dark. The effect is strongest after exposure to UV light, followed by direct sunlight and then LED light. For best results, expose your finished print to strong sunlight or UV light for around 30 minutes.

The filament is made from high-quality PLA raw materials and is designed for consistent, reliable printing. It offers good ductility and higher strength, and produces no noticeable odour during printing. The manufacturing process includes full mechanical wire winding to prevent tangles and knots, and each spool is fully dried for 24 hours before being vacuum sealed.

Dimensional accuracy is maintained at +/- 0.03mm through CCD diameter-measuring controls, keeping feeding stable and reducing the risk of clogs. Suggested print settings are a nozzle temperature of 190–220 °C, a bed temperature of 50–60 °C, and a print speed of 30–90 mm/s.

The spool is designed with a larger inner hub to allow smoother feeding and is compatible with most FDM printers on the market. Spool diameter is 7.99 inches, spool width is 2.48 inches, and the hub hole diameter is 2.36 inches. Each package includes 2.2 lbs of glow-in-the-dark blue filament, a resealable bag, 5 metres of cleaning filament, and a 5-metre random filament sample.
